The 37-year-old, who has 12 years experience as a trainer, focuses on older adults and injury rehabilitation. He mentioned some of his trainees also use technology.

"In my opinion it's very valuable, additional information is positive," he stated.
"I believe the more people are online the more they'll desire human connection because they want the warmth from the comprehension that is missing from a computer," he added.

Dafydd said Artificial intelligence can inform users and make coaching more effective.

But, he said true dedication comes when people appear physically for training.

"No matter how helpful as it is at the middle of the night, a digital tool cannot ensure you show up at 7am before work," he concluded.

In the view of many, he suggested, the fitness center is a space to disconnect from devices and stop being glued to screens.
